Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department to ensure efficient and safe pharmaceutical services.
∎ Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain proper documentation.
∎ Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy staff, ensuring proper training, development, and performance management.
∎ Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to optimize pharmacy services.
∎ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote and ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
∎ Manage inventory, procurement, and distribution of pharmaceuticals to ensure stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized.
∎ Monitor and ensure adherence to the hospital's budget for the pharmacy department.
∎ Liaise with medical staff, patients, and other departments to address queries related to medications and pharmacy services.
∎ Implement best practices in pharmaceutical care and stay updated with current pharmaceutical trends and innovations.
