Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the maintenance and repair of all factory machinery, equipment, and utility systems to minimize operational downtime and ensure continuous production.
∎ Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for critical assets to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
∎ Coordinate with in-house technicians and external contractors for specialized repairs and servicing, ensuring all work is completed to high standards and in a timely manner.
∎ Assess the condition of the captive power plant infrastructure, including gas generators, and recommend necessary upgrades or repairs to maintain efficiency and compliance.
∎ Actively contribute to factory expansion projects by participating in layout design, equipment selection, and installation processes.
∎ Conduct routine maintenance on gas generators, troubleshoot any arising issues, and ensure timely rectification of mechanical or electrical faults in generator units.
∎ Oversee and follow up on the installation of new machinery and the maintenance schedules of existing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
∎ Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair activities, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality.
∎ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance and repair activities.
∎ Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories to inform decision-making and improve future operations.
∎ Provide training and support to the maintenance team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle routine and emergency repairs.
