Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor the Workshop and Supervise all the Engineers/ Mechanic team to ensure the smooth works.
∎ To ensure the maintenance and servicing schedule of the vehicles.
∎ Must have vast knowledge about vehicle maintenance & ensuring log book, fuel consumption etc.
∎ Planning and controlling transports movement.
∎ Vast knowledge about the procurement of vehicle parts & it’s pricing.
∎ Experience in handling All Type of Vehicles.
∎ Implementation of Transport policy as company policy.
∎ Propose improvements in the existing transport system.
∎ Ensure that proper inventory of all components of vehicles are maintained and checked frequently.
∎ Strictly act upon the petrol/diesel filling mechanism approved by the management.
∎ Keep records/ history of drivers and accidents.
∎ Maintain duty roasters of drivers, cleaners and mechanics.
∎ Arrange for re-training and re-certification of drivers and registration and re- certifications of vehicles.
∎ Ensure feedback on performance of staff, drivers cleaners and mechanics after evaluation.
∎ Submit regular and comprehensive monthly report to the Management.
∎ The Distribution, Maintenance, repair and utilization of the entire vehicle fleet of the area.
