Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the supply chain team to achieve departmental and company objectives.
∎ Has to have sound knowledge on footwear materials & its quality.
∎ Has to have close communication & relation with overseas suppliers. As well as local suppliers too.
∎ Responsible for development and implementation of Supply Chain Policy, Procedures and Strategy aligned with organization goal.
∎ Strategist the Supply Chain function to ensure cost optimization, risk management and efficient operation.
∎ Drive the Supply Chain KPIs through the implementation of best practices.
∎ Responsible for the complete procurement function to ensure timely & cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, & spare parts, ensuring best quality as per applicable standards.
∎ Has to plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of raw materials to successfully manage production plan.
∎ Has to collaborate with merchandising team, Store & Finance Teams. As well as customer for sharing materials status or quality.
∎ Responsible for developing effective supplier base / best vendor, maintaining efficient business relationship and conduct periodic assessment / review of supplier performance.
∎ Has to co-ordinate commercial team for negotiate with freight forwarders to reduce the freight cost, aiming for Zero Air Freight cost.
∎ Has to perform any other task as assigned by the management.
