Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy for the company, aligning it with the company's business goals and objectives. Continuously evaluate and refine the strategy to adapt to changing market conditions and business requirements.
∎ Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast product demand accurately. Develop demand planning models and processes to ensure adequate inventory levels and timely product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
∎ Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. Establish strong relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance to ensure timely and quality supplies of raw materials and components.
∎ Implement inventory management systems and procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs. Monitor inventory turnover, aging, and obsolescence to prevent stockouts and reduce waste.
∎ Collaborate with production managers to develop production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and lead times. Optimize production efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
∎ Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and distribution. Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing transportation costs.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain, such as reducing lead times, improving supplier performance, optimizing transportation routes, or implementing new technologies. Lead or participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives.
∎ Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain operations. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 50 years
∎ Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a managerial role.
∎ Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
∎ Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Strong leadership and team management abilities.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
