Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop best fit supply chain management process-policies and practices for the company to improve the overall SCM performance and look for any possible innovations to the process
∎ Lead the sourcing team of the company
∎ Oversee the day to day activities of procurement team members and make sure to place orders and goods in house on time from both Local and overseas.
∎ Working on forecasts and inventories to make sure how many items of each product need to order
∎ Track all orders from suppliers and when we will receive in our warehouse
∎ Contact agents, customs clearing and others
∎ Oversee the overall activities of warehouse and inventory management
∎ Analyze the market and be up to date always about the product cost and quality
∎ Take cost savings initiative by developing vendors/suppliers
∎ Produce reports (weekly and monthly) showing the status of procurement against requisitions
∎ Settlement of vendor payments against supplies
∎ Train, guide and lead a team of about 15 members.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong oral and written communication skill both in Bengali and English.
∎ Must be proficient in MS Office.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
Salary: Negotiable
