Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in Planning, directing and managing the Local Supply Chain Management Process.
∎ Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain smooth SCM process useful for the business.
∎ Constant monitoring of market trends to ensure that prices of goods and services remain competitive at all times
∎ Explore cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes (sourcing, vendor management, procurement etc.)
∎ Cover activities associated with the ordering, supply, delivery, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
∎ Identify and conduct analyses on underperforming areas in the supply chain process and suggest improvements or solutions to problems.
∎ Connect directly with all production stakeholders, analyses inventory levels and develop liability reports for excess and obsolete management.
∎ Makes tactical buying decisions.
∎ Executes corporate sourcing programs.
∎ Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, and inventories.
