Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business management, or a related field.
∎ 7-10 years of relevant experience in procurement, commercial activities, or supply chain management in the agro based sector.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain Planning
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement procurement and commercial strategies for the agricultural products division.
∎ Manage and coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
∎ Monitor and manage inventory levels, and ensure that the procurement process is efficient and cost-effective.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including farmers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
∎ Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats.
∎ Develop and maintain budgets, and ensure that financial targets are met.
∎ Develop and lead a team of procurement and commercial staff, and ensure that they are motivated, trained, and have the necessary resources to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of farming practices, agricultural commodities, and the regulatory environment for agricultural products.
∎ Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
