Job Context:
∎ Manager- SCM should be result oriented, self motivated and hard working professionals having experience in cement industry. He/She will be responsible for analyzing the all requirement of demand & supply of a large cement industry. He/She will be responsible for ensuring end to end supply chain & logistics support of the company.
∎ Being a Supply Chain Manager He/she will manages and monitors vendor`s qualification and performance to ensure they meet company`s requirements. Additionally, Supply Chain Manager will reports to a General manager. He/She manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the supply chain team to achieve departmental and company objectives
∎ Responsible for development and implementation of Supply Chain Policy, Procedures and Strategy aligned with organization goal and in accordance with SML Global Policy
∎ Strategist the Supply Chain function to ensure cost optimization, risk management and efficient operation
∎ Drive the Supply Chain KPIs through the implementation of best practices
∎ Responsible for the complete procurement function to ensure timely & cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, consumables & spare parts, ensuring best quality as per applicable standards
∎ Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of manufacturing raw materials to successfully manage a highly fluctuating market demand
∎ Responsible for overseeing Demand Planning, Inventory Turnover and Control / Stock Count / Cycle Counting, Material Movement and Cost Analysis, Trend Analysis, Maintain Stock Re-order Level / Safety Stock, Market Intelligence
∎ Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service & Finance Teams
∎ Implement process improvement across the supply chain function
∎ Responsible for developing effective supplier base / best vendor, maintaining efficient business relationship and conduct periodic assessment / review of supplier performance
∎ Negotiate with freight forwarders to reduce the freight cost, aiming for Zero Air Freight Cost
∎ Resolve Supply Chain issues that will drive the growth and profitability of the company
∎ Inspire and motivate the supply chain team to go extra miles and bring results to achieve the company's goals.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, leadership and oral & written communication skills
∎ Demonstrated negotiation skills, ability to build and maintain customer relationship
∎ Must be self-motivated, proactive, and have a high-energetic approach to problem solving
∎ Demonstrated selling ability with assertive, positive and persistent style
∎ Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written)
∎ Aptitude for acquiring negotiation skills and product knowledge
∎ Organized effective time management skills
