Commercial related experience, Demand Planning, Export/ Import through L/C, Store/ inventory, supply chain management, Vendor Selection, Warehouse Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the supply chain team to achieve departmental and company objectives
∎ Responsible for development and implementation of Supply Chain Policy, Procedures and Strategy aligned with organization goal and in accordance with SML Global Policy
∎ Strategist the Supply Chain function to ensure cost optimization, risk management and efficient operation
∎ Drive the Supply Chain KPIs through the implementation of best practices
∎ Responsible for the complete procurement function to ensure timely & cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, consumables & spare parts, ensuring best quality as per applicable standards
∎ Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of manufacturing raw materials to successfully manage a highly fluctuating market demand
∎ Responsible for overseeing Demand Planning, Inventory Turnover and Control / Stock Count / Cycle Counting, Material Movement and Cost Analysis, Trend Analysis, Maintain Stock Re-order Level / Safety Stock, Market Intelligence
∎ Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service & Finance Teams
∎ Implement process improvement across the supply chain function
∎ Responsible for developing effective supplier base / best vendor, maintaining efficient business relationship and conduct periodic assessment / review of supplier performance
∎ Negotiate with freight forwarders to reduce the freight cost.
∎ Resolve Supply Chain issues that will drive the growth and profitability of the company
∎ Inspire and motivate the supply chain team to go extra miles and bring results to achieve the company's goals.
