∎ Experienced in the Pre-engineered Steel Structure business will be an added advantage.
∎ PGDSCM degree will get preference.
∎ Should have experience in relevant field.
∎ Absolutely proactive, smart, energetic, dynamic leadership, self-motivated, determined and be Tactful to meet the expectation of the company & capable to work under pressure.
∎ Have experience in sourcing and negotiation work for international procurement.
∎ Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Good knowledge about Procurement & SCM.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Supply Chain, Purchase/ Procurement etc. related jobs.
∎ Wide travel across the country is required.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for:
∎ Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
∎ Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
∎ Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms of Pricing, Quality, Quantity.
∎ Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
∎ Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
∎ Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
∎ Overseeing and managing the inventory and the supply of goods & preparing procurement reports.
∎ Understanding of the local market, suppliers, contractors' requirements.· Collect quotations from various vendors and suppliers.
∎ Maintain smooth supply chain management.
∎ Prepare plan for proper sourcing and on time delivery of required items.
∎ Collect price quotations, prepare comparative statement (CS) and collect approval of purchase.
∎ Conduct market survey in order to develop new/alternative suppliers.
∎ Liaise with store to ensure receiving of goods with desired quality, quantity or any other perimeters.
∎ Analyze costs across many different areas of the supply chain to find ways to reduce costs.
∎ Coordinates and executes the purchasing transactions.
∎ Investigates and develops sources of supplies, interprets purchasing procedures to operations and vendors for material categories.
∎ Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
