Yarn Procurement, Yarn Sourcing
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, Monitoring & Execution the task schedule for each BU (Business Unit - Yarn, Fabric, Trims, Print & Embroidery).
∎ Looking after the overall part of SCM that includes Procurement follow up, Contract, Management, Vendor Management, Logistics & Inventory Management.
∎ Ensuring the process of procurement, inventory, supply, logistics, and distribution.
∎ Responsible for making sure that each step of the process is being performed effectively.
∎ Constantly communicate with key personnel in procurement, manufacturing BU, inventory control, logistics, and distribution department of the organization to ensure that the objectives of each BU.
∎ Ensuring the minimum stock level of materials for the smooth operations of each BU.
∎ Achieving the optimum efficiency of stock management (a week for each step-pipeline, transit, floor, ware-house).
∎ Maintain good relationships with Suppliers and ensure that the flow of materials available at minimal cost and best quality with JIT delivery.
∎ Maintain multiple supplier contacts and update them as prompt.
∎ Examine the process at hand and take steps for improvement and cost reduction.
