Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operations Efficiency:
∎ Oversee the control and monitoring of Freight Forwarding and Logistics services, performance, and costs.
∎ Directing and controlling local capacity procurement with preferred and non-preferred carriers.
∎ Directing and controlling the implementation of approved operations structures and processes to support and achieve the business objectives.
∎ Ensuring and supervise the implementation and use of Freight Forwarding and Logistics management system in alignment with Asia Pacific Freight Forwarding and Logistics Operational Excellence and Business Architecture.
∎ Ensuring remedial and preventive actions are planned and executed in case of service failures and responding to emergency situations.
∎ Changing and implementing operational and transport management system environment.
∎ Backup Support to PMA & partially responsible for Country Freight Forwarding and Logistics P&L.
∎ Process & Operational Excellence:
∎ Main contact for operational systems related topics (Air & Ocean export & import)
∎ Act as the coordinating and communicating instance between RAF and the country organization for operational system and processes topics
∎ Engagement in the definition of operational standards via the Regional Freight Forwarding and Logistics and Country Management
∎ Provide training to country users include new functionality
∎ Testing of new functionality and change request
∎ Assist in rolling out new systems projects in the country
∎ Provide status report and track issues to facilitate timely issue solutions
∎ Audit of systems and process compliance according to SOP
∎ Review of current process and improve operations efficiency
∎ Document activity statuses and report to regional Freight Forwarding and Logistics board
∎ Project Management:
∎ Project leader for any new project implementation in Bangladesh
∎ Decide on project targets, project responsibility, and use of resources.
∎ Approve strategies and measures within project scope.
∎ Represent project towards stakeholders & resolve conflicting agendas.
∎ Plan strategic and operational processes for import and export activities.
∎ Train Air Freight and Ocean Freight team on team building activities and productivity growth
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 10 years in the relevant field specially, Minimum 3 years' experience in project Management 1. Decision making capability on operations efficiency 2. Operational process excellence
∎ Advance skills in English along with the ability to communicate and collaborate
∎ Experience with MS Office package & email communication (local & International)
∎ Methodical, Multi-tasking and passionate to work under pressure
∎ Open and positive mind with an organized approach to work
