Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in any discipline from any reputed University;
∎ B.Sc in EEE / Mechanical Engineering will be preferred;
∎ Six (6) months long certification course from Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense;
∎ Experienced in Fire Service & Civil Defense will get preference;

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fire and Safety

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performs the role of 'Officer-In-Charge' of all fire and rescue operations . Assume the role of incident commander and determine an overall plan to resolve incidents until command is transferred.
∎ Planning & determining the deployment personnel during periods requiring special fire department response and assigned activities.
∎ Direct subordinate Officers / firemen to appropriate assignment to ensure the plan of action is followed in a safe and efficient manner.
∎ Using independent judgment initiative and skills regarding all matters concerning fire prevention, suppression and rescue procedures.
∎ Maintain that are well-developed plans for easy evacuation of people in a building in the case of a fire outbreak. Ensure that all fire and safety equipment in an establishment are in Functional always.
∎ Conduct regular risk assessment of the complex and take necessary corrective measures/steps in consultation with the concern authority.
∎ Ensure necessary safety precautionary measures (i.e. PPE) before hot work (welding/cutting) in the premises. Visit the hot work places time to time and take necessary steps if any unsafe situation observed.
∎ Conduct all necessary drill and training of co-workers/employees or subordinates regularly as regards general fire safety rules/procedures or FS&CD/BGMEA/buyer, ACCORD, ALLIANCE requirement.
∎ Ensures that all fire Detection & protection systems like smoke detectors; fire alarms, sprinklers, etc. all are installed properly (as per ACCORD/ ALLIANCE, NFPA, BNBC standard) and functional always. Also, ensure all operational fire and rescue equipment is properly inspected and records maintained regularly.
∎ Responsible for working closely with external fire service Civil departments (FS&CD) so as to be able to maintain strong and feasible emergency response plan.
∎ Organize routine fire safety checks/inspections which usually cover the assessment of fire hazards, as well as ensure the safety of life and properties.
∎ Investigate arid implement appropriate disciplinary action on violation or incidents within the establishment under guideline of Fire Safety Manager.
∎ Responsible for preparing all required documents and references ready as per buyer/auditor requirement.
∎ Ensure 'No Smoking in the factory, premises in close coordination with Ad min and Security department.
∎ Maintain Duty Roster of Officers , firemen and Cross check their duties accordingly.
∎ Ensure All Kind of Equipment & Accessories receive, Storing & using properly.
∎ Any other assignment as assigned by the management when required.

∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 6 years experienced in relevant field from any textile industry
∎ Energetic, punctual, self-motivated and result oriented
∎ Excellent communication skills both written and speaking in English
∎ Able to communicate effectively with all levels
∎ Willing to stay beside factory site at own accord
