∎ BSc Engineering in Civil from any Public University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Structural Design of Multi-storied Residential & Commercial buildings
∎ Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
∎ Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence
∎ Knowledge about relevant codes such as BNBC, ACI, ASTM etc
∎ Prepares construction budget by studying home plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation (Estimate & BOQ). elevation.
∎ Coordination with relevant professional staff such as architects, electrical & Plumbing Consultants
∎ Design & Drawing checking
∎ Knowledge about operation of Microsoft Project program
∎ Project Planning & Implementation
∎ Monitor on-site construction processes, Checking & Compliance of construction Quality
∎ Track and report on project progress
Additional Requirements:
∎ Previous experience as a Structural Engineer or similar field
∎ Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
∎ Hands-on experience on Excel, MS Project, and Auto Cad
∎ Good communication ability (both written and verbal)
∎ Member of the Institute of Structural Engineering is preferable
