Job Context:
∎ Sheltech Engineering Ltd., a well reputed construction management company is currently looking for qualified and committed individuals to fill the following position:
∎ Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of the total procurement department of the company
∎ Work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors.
∎ Having up to date knowledge in handling L/C, Import and Export, Customs Act, VAT, Tax, Custom, C&F agents, insurance
∎ Create supply chain management strategies that increases efficiency and speed
∎ Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity
∎ Maintain excellent liaison with other department for conclude smooth work
∎ Develop strong, functional relationships with vendors, suppliers in favor of the company
∎ Monitor & focus upcoming levels of demand, determine quantity & timing of deliveries.
∎ Train and mentor team members
∎ Optimize warehouse functions
∎ Able to work independently with tight deadline and deal with work procedure.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 38 years
∎ 08 to 10 year(s) experience in construction or real estate sector.
∎ Strong leadership and excellent people skills
∎ Experience in ERP programs (enterprise level preferred)
∎ Expertise with sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, supply market analysis & networking
∎ Should have computer skills with MS Office & Email communication.
