Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/ MBA (Major in Marketing/Operation Management/Supply Chain Management) from any reputed Public/ private university.
∎ Professional Training in Supply Chain Management will give an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility for Purchasing, Cost Estimating activities, and contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process.
∎ Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets.
∎ Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards, and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate
∎ Receive purchase/procurement orders and requests through formal procurement requisitions and identify the requirements of goods/services, justify specifications.
∎ Categorize goods and items, visit market frequently, select proper Vendors, inspect companies- dealers and searching markets for new sources.
∎ Sending RFQs, collecting quotations, prepare comparative analysis; go for negotiation and issue supply orders.
∎ Inspection and acceptance of goods, verification of invoices and submission of payment requests.
∎ Involve in direct purchase through spot quotations following the rules of procurement.
∎ Obtaining goods in right time at a cost effective price and work closely with the store officers in receiving goods through MRR.
∎ Liaison with outsourcing companies in connection with Bulk Procurement.
∎ Monitor price to control outsourcing compared with market and make recommendation for future procurement.
∎ Ensure full compliance of procurement activities with the SPP procurement rules and procedures.
∎ Provide cooperation to the end users to meet their actual requirements.
∎ Files all procurement related documents for audit trial and future references.
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Computer literacy and ability to using software is an added advantage.
