Job Context:
∎ IQRA FOOTWEAR INDUSTRIES LTD is a 100% Export Oriented Company.The Company is looking for a Planning and merchandising manager for footwear Industry.
∎ Job Location-Bhagalpur, Bajitpur, Kishoreganj, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Leads the production control department, including all planning, scheduling, inventory management, customer service and internal logistics functions
∎ Work with the other operations departments to ensure a high level of customer service while managing working capital levels
∎ Manages inventory levels including establishing goals, rotating stock, managing purchasing and supply base and developing methods and procedures
∎ Develops long range planning initiatives for production control group, which include continuously evaluating the plants needs, capacities, capital, expenses, etc. to meet growth goals
∎ Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, corporate and plan production departments to ensure on time delivery of products and team support
∎ Planning and releasing of raw material and other consumables schedule to purchase department and coordination with them for its timely procurement and effective control.
∎ Through insight and in-depth knowledge of the industry and the consumer, this position will drive the creation of on-trend, market-right and product lines.
∎ Create and present seasonal product assortments leveraging market knowledge, consumer insights, trend assessment and financial risk and reward. Partner with sales, merchandising planning/operations, and marketing to guarantee that the seasonal plans align with the company goals and initiatives.
∎ Provide leadership and direction to develop a collaborative working environment with product creation teams and sales teams. Resolve process issues and recommend ways to continually improve the interaction of team members as well as process efficiencies.
∎ Present seasonal plans and product assortments to sales partners, as well as senior management. Attend and present assigned product lines to sales force at sales meetings and key retailer meetings.
∎ Partner with Marketing and Go-To-Market activation teams to develop compelling product assortments and stories that maximize brand perception and market growth across regions.
∎ To maintain professional relationship between foreign/national buyer and manufacturer.
∎ To collect the PO from buyer
∎ To prepare the order costing & price quoting etc.
