∎ Age 25 to 55 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor and supervise all the mechanical maintenance activities related to the Road construction equipment and plants (Dump Truck, Excavator, Pay Loader, Mixture Truck, Roller, Hydraulic Rig, Asphalting Equipment etc.)
∎ Accountable for the preventive maintenance program to minimize unscheduled breakdown time, and maintenance of road construction equipment and plants.
∎ Assist to develop & implement the preventive & predictive maintenance systems.
∎ Prepare breakdown and maintenance report.
∎ Responsible for spare parts inventory, requisition of spare parts and other consumable items through ERP software.
∎ Coordinate with SCM & procurement steam to ensure uninterrupted spares and material supply to support maintenance and operation.
∎ Develop and maintain a systematic method to maintain all equipment and plants in a safe and efficient working condition.
∎ Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition. Schedule repair activities in a planned way to have minimum interference with production activities.
∎ Assure that all the construction equipment is capable of producing output within the specifications and tolerances.
∎ Plan and provide for an adequate supply and ensure control over spare parts and maintenance supplies. Control labor costs within department.
∎ Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and make recommendations.
∎ Assessing fuel consumption and utilize maximum consumption rate.
∎ Develop subordinates by imparting training to Fitter, Welder, Rigger, lathe operator & mechanical Helper
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
