∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Masters/MBA with Diploma in SCM will be preferred

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial, Purchase, Supplychain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Cement Industry, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Steel

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, organize, control & manage complete procurement cycle to ensure supply chain surplus
∎ Developing dynamic procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
∎ Analyzing the market & competitors to implement effective strategy.
∎ Provide overall supervision and coordination of staff and activities.
∎ Communicating and negotiating with vendors to land more profitable deals.
∎ Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
∎ Follow up local indent as per requirement of respective department on the basis of Lead time.
∎ Coordinate with other departments for justified material requisitions. To maintain liaison with the others department/ branches in connection with requisition, supply of goods / materials in time.
∎ Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
∎ Overseeing and monitoring the RM, Refractories & Consumables stock position for executing optimum stock level.
∎ Review comparative statement (CS) and assist Management to select the vendors by ensuring the best purchase deal in terms of quality & quantity of products and service level.
∎ Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure savings & advantageous terms.
∎ Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ Ensure supplier payment within agreed credit limit.
∎ Reconcile supplier ledger & ensure balance agreed up on both side.
∎ Ensure VAT & TAX compliant procurement.
∎ Evaluating and reporting on KPIs of team members.
∎ Managing and motivating the Procurement team.
∎ Day to day activities as per management instruction.
∎ Prepare Monthly/ Periodical Report on previous purchase
∎ Prepare various report for the senior & management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Good communication (Both English & Bengali), execution & planning skill etc.
