Job Context:
∎ The Inventory Control Manager will ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and properly recorded in inventory ledger. This position is responsible to ensure correct valuation of inventory for management reports.
∎ Job Location: Gazipur (Borobari and Sreepur-Mawna).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
∎ Ensure that whatever items are received meet order specifications
∎ Support to create purchase plan by sharing information with purchase department.
∎ Responsible for forecasting company's future stock needs
∎ Oversee the constant flow of stocks in and out of company's warehouse facility
∎ Ensure proper management of aging and excess stocks
∎ Oversees stock item master data, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
∎ Update inventory valuation in ERP
∎ Reconcile and report on inventory movement from Purchase to Delivery of goods.
∎ Ensures adherence to approved policies.
∎ Masters degree any discipline/supply chain management. Accounting background preferred.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5/6 years in same area.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): At least 6/7 years in Garments/Textile Industry in Inventory Control.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
∎ Strong leadership and team management skill.
∎ Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures.
