5+ years Proven experience in managing health club/gym operations
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of fitness equipment, exercise techniques, and industry trends
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
First Aid and CPR certification
Valid certification as a personal trainer or fitness instructor (preferred)

Job Purpose
To oversee the day-to-day operations of the health club/gym, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, efficient management of staff, and adherence to safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of club operations, including fitness classes, personal training, and facility maintenance
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility
Manage inventory and procurement of fitness equipment, supplies, and consumables
Build and maintain strong relationships with members
Resolve member complaints and issues efficiently and professionally
Handle member inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
Implement strategies to increase member retention and satisfaction
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
Create and maintain a positive and motivating work environment
Develop and implement strategies to increase membership sales and revenue
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards
Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions
Develop and implement emergency procedures
Maintain accurate records and documentation
