Major duties and responsibilities:
Lead all mechanical engineering, maintenance, and utility operations to ensure uninterrupted factory production and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for production machinery, boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC, and other mechanical utilities, as applicable.
Monitor equipment performance, breakdowns, maintenance costs, spare parts inventory, and energy consumption to optimize equipment reliability and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, statutory requirements, buyer codes, and relevant inspection and certification requirements for mechanical equipment and utilities.
Lead, supervise, and develop the mechanical engineering and maintenance team while coordinating with Production, IE, EHS, and other departments to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
