Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg), Diploma in Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage the dredging operations personnel including Dredging Supervisor and all support staff.
∎ Manage operations of all dredge projects, including equipment utilization, project budgets, and scheduling.
∎ Ensure that all required reports are compiled with relevant stakeholders, including cost forecasting.
∎ Develop and ensure safety SOPs, and business processes.
∎ Review all work plans and updates.
∎ Develop monthly cost and revenue projections.
∎ Assist with executing project closeout documents.
∎ Develop and enforce processes to care for the equipment correctly to ensure its availability for the next project.
∎ Obtain necessary clearances for the equipment engagement and demobilizing.
∎ Fulfil local rules and regulations in co-ordination with the clients as per the terms of the contract.
∎ Visit the dredging site and finalize detailed methodology for project execution logistics support and equipment requirement.
∎ Assist in project selection, bid review, and business development.
∎ Attend and actively participate in all bid reviews for dredging projects.
∎ Build relationships with owners/customers and engineering firms to secure future projects.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Graduation in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 3 years of proven experience / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of proven experience
∎ Considerable knowledge of the methods and procedures used in dredging operations
∎ Understanding of techniques used to monitor turbidity adjacent to dredging operations, including implications arising from the monitoring results.
