Educational Requirements:
∎ M. Pharm/ M. Sc in Chemistry/Applied chemistry/Bio-chemistry
∎ Preferably from public university/ reputed private university with excellent academic record.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To supervise all QA activities to meet cGMP, GLP and In-house requirements.
∎ To give final disposition (release/rejection) of materials and products in absence of Head of QA. To ensure compilation of batch documents.
∎ To ensure release/rejection information is provided in time to all concerned departments.
∎ To handle non-conformances of material, product and process.
∎ To participate in determining, proposing and/or deciding and approving the necessary required actions for material/product/process non-conformances.
∎ To handle customer complaint, investigate the root cause and to ensure reply to the complainant.
∎ To handle and give final approval of change control in absence of Head of QA and to conduct relevant risk assessment.
∎ To handle and give approval to planned/unplanned deviation based on risk assessment.
∎ To carry out and coordinate risk assessment in different functions.
∎ To investigate out of specification test results of material and product.
∎ To manage sub-ordinates and ensure staff maintain good laboratory practice (GLP).
∎ To supervise validation activities and ensure all validation activities are conducted in time.
∎ To ensure compliance in control of documents and records.
∎ To ensure laboratory instruments are kept in order and calibrated as per schedule.
∎ To look after chemical and media consumption for uninterrupted QA/QC analysis.
∎ To carry out on time internal quality audits as per schedule.
∎ To give approval of new supplier or reject existing supplier of material, reagent, etc. in absence of Head of QA.
∎ To provide and coordinate training to personnel of different levels, to evaluate training and preserving training record.
∎ To carry out any other assignments given by the authority to meet the company objectives within.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Excellent written/oral communication skills, computer knowledge (MS Office).
∎ Knowledge of GLP, GMP & other guidelines.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
∎ Individuals who have worked in stringent regulatory accredited companies will get higher priority
