Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Leading the procurement team in getting the goods or services at the right time and achieving the best value.
∎ Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
∎ Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
∎ Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
∎ Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
∎ Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
∎ Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
∎ Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
∎ Ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
∎ Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
∎ Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
∎ Discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses
∎ Keep informed of current developments in the field of purchase, price, market conditions and new product.
∎ Lead the inspection of all supplies, services and equipment purchased to ensure similarity with specifications
∎ Prepare comparative statement based on received quotations.
∎ Preparing & organize routine correspondence and general reference documents such as monthly budget, requisition, quotation, work order etc.
∎ Collect quotation from different companies for various types of work give work order by compromising competitive prices and related matters
∎ Any other activities deemed pertinent to purchase and maintenance related matter with prior approval of the authority.
