• Must have deep knowledge about Customs Act, Bond Rules, UD/UP system, Strong network with Customs & BGMEA also NBR regulations.

• Must have practical experience in facing and handling customs audits independently.

Job Summary:

• To handle all customs, bonded warehouse, import-export documentation and liaison with Customs, Bond Commissionerate, BGMEA, and C&F agents to ensure smooth operation of 100% export-oriented garments factory.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Bond Management: Maintain 100% accurate Bond Register (Raw materials - Fabric, Accessories, etc.)Take care of Bond License acquisition, renewal and increase of entitlement.

• Prepare and submit Utilization Declaration (UD), Utilization Permission (UP), and Consumption Report.

• Face Annual Customs Bond Audit and prepare all necessary documents for audit.

• Maintain IN-Bond and OUT-Bond stock and ensure physical stock matches with register.

• Handle Bond-to-Bond transfer, sub-contract and wastage disposal as per customs rules.

• Check and verify all import documents - L/C, PI, Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Entry (B/E).

• Monitor import through C&F agents and ensure timely clearance from Chittagong / Dhaka / Benapole port.

• Handle export documentation - Bill of Export (B/E), EXP Form, GSP, UD, EXP.

• Liaison with C&F agents for both import and export shipments.

• Ensure HS Code is correctly applied for duty benefit.

• Maintain strong liaison with Customs House, Bond Commissionerate, BGMEA, BKMEA, EPB, and Port Authority.

• Ensure 100% compliance with NBR rules, Customs Act, and Bonded Warehouse Licensing Rules.

• Keep management updated about any new circular / SRO from NBR / Customs.

• Prevent any customs penalty, fine or case.

• Prepare monthly reports on Import, Export, Stock Position, and Bond Consumption.

• Maintain all import files, export files, UD/UP files properly for audit.

• Coordinate with Merchandising, Commercial, Store, and Accounts department.
