∎ Masters/MBA in any Subject.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Commercial and Supply Chain department.
∎ Create the company's supply chain strategy
∎ Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
∎ Evaluate and report on KPIs
∎ Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
∎ Maintain supply chain inventory and records
∎ Train and guide employees
∎ Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
∎ Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
∎ Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
∎ Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
∎ Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
∎ Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
∎ Sound knowledge on export and Import.
∎ Deal with Bank related to export/import.
∎ Independently can work on all kind of L/C related Documents, Banking functions
∎ Sound knowledge about customs related documents and procedure.
∎ Monitoring with shipping line, Forwarder and C&F
∎ Maintain liaison with import relevant field such as Government officer, customs, PDB, Power Ministry etc.
∎ Shipment schedule follow up with forwarder.
∎ Sound knowledge about payment terms.
∎ Ensure all logistic activities related to export & import.
∎ Must be able to work independently without minimum supervision
∎ Having knowledge about product HS code.
∎ Preparing invoice, Packing list, B/L and shipping documents.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial, Commercial/ Export-Import, Experience in Procurement Logistics, Foreign procurement, Freight Forwarding/ C&F
