Job Context:
∎ A Commercial & Export Manager ensures the responsibility to restructure, automate & manage the entire department operation efficiently and achieve the and business goal as set by top Management.
∎ Job title: Manager (Export)
∎ Reports to (Position): GM (Sales & Marketing)
∎ Department/Function: Commercial & Exports
∎ Direct Reports: GM (Sales & Marketing)
∎ Indirect Reports: Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Production & Plant Activities-
∎ Directs foreign sales and service outlets of an organization: Negotiates contracts with foreign sales and distribution centers for establishing outlets.
∎ Directing clerical staff in expediting export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections.
∎ Directs conversion of products from Bangladesh to foreign standards and specifications to ensure efficient operation under foreign conditions.
∎ Arranges shipping details, such as export licenses, customs declarations, and packing, shipping and routing of product.
∎ Directs clerical and technical staff in preparation of foreign language sales manuals
∎ Expedites import-export arrangements and maintains current information on import-export tariffs, licenses, and restrictions.
∎ Administer all export of goods and ensure compliance to all organizational policies and procedures, monitoring all financial and currency processes transactions and manage all communication with export authorities for all required countries.
∎ Coordinate with management and plan participation in all trade shows and ensure all activities according to customer specifications and assist business partners to design efficient distributing strategies for customers and ensure compliance to all state and federal regulations.
∎ Team Development Activities-
∎ Interact with departmental heads to identify and remove any obstacles to foster an efficient and value driven work culture.
∎ Provides the necessary leadership and guidance to key employees and top performers through mentoring and identification of best practices to enhance performance efficiencies.
∎ Responsible for analyzing the business performance and review operation skill level to ensure corrective action
∎ To co-ordinate with different department for improving their working procedures
∎ Create a quality culture in the department
∎ Conduct training for overall operational sustainability.
∎ To carry out any other assignment given by the company or immediate superior.
∎ Reporting and Analyzing-
∎ Submit a report on monthly basis about the production and stock.
∎ Preparing individual plant supervisors performance analysis.
∎ Monitoring of all the necessary paperwork by QC & plant supervisors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years relevant experience in commercial & export. Candidates who have experience in New Organizational Setup & Automation process shall get the preference.
∎ Microsoft Office Package
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
