Job Context:
∎ Category manager is responsible to developing and managing the category of products strategic sourcing, sales & profitability plan through analysis and evaluating the effectiveness of space management, demand planning & promotional activities as per company process.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Accountabilities:
∎ Operational/ Functional/ Business:
∎ Prepare & achieve Annual Business Plan (ABP) with actionable strategies.
∎ Ensure to maximize margins through more profitable sourcing strategy, strategic negotiation, right pricing, accuracy of demand management, vendor management, precision visual merchandising with comprehensive clustering, space planning and assortment management capabilities.
∎ Drive and execute more effective promotions to drive footfall and basket value with a SMART sale and profit balancing combination through accurate market intelligence, and attractive display to meet financial goals.
∎ Lead to drive continuous improvement of other income in various areas like - JBP, sales incentive, branding or promotional visibility, bulk volume, etc.
∎ Evaluating and close monitoring in-depth sales / stock / profit analysis, consumer behaviour, ROI on individual category profitability and ensure all strategies are in place to assess the development needs of the business at all levels in context of expansion and growth.
∎ Developing proactive networks and relationships to work closely with insight, brand and activation managers to build shopper understanding achieve business target.
∎ Assist supervisor in the development of strategic plan through sharing various types of required business analysis and relevant information as when required.
∎ To evaluate and improve commercial process & system on a continual basis with analytical, interpretative & constructive thinking.
∎ Management:
∎ Implement, adhere and monitor the effectiveness of organization processes and procedures.
∎ Leadership:
∎ Leading the team towards achieving of overall targets.
∎ Develop organizational loyalty through a sound job environment.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5-7 years working experience in relevant field is preferable
∎ Working experience in different retail supermarket
∎ Skill Sets: Good communication & interpersonal skills, leadership & team building qualities, analytical ability, proactive and hard working
