∎ Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
∎ Conduct market research to identify potential sourcing opportunities for various commodity items, especially in the grain sector.
∎ Develop and implement business strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
∎ Monitor competitor activities and market trends to make data-driven decisions and strategies.
∎ Relationship Management:
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and industry stakeholders in Bangladesh and abroad.
∎ Negotiate contracts and ensure favorable terms for sourcing and procurement of commodities.
∎ Supply Chain Optimization:
∎ Analyze and streamline supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs in sourcing commodity items.
∎ Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
∎ Project Management & Reporting:
∎ Oversee project initiatives from inception through execution, ensuring that sourcing projects meet timeline and budget requirements.
∎ Prepare regular reports on market insights, performance metrics, and project progress to present to senior management.
∎ Regulatory Compliance:
∎ Ensure all sourcing activities are compliant with national and international trade regulations and company policies.
∎ Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations related to commodity sourcing and import/export requirements.
∎ Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the commodities sector, specifically with grain commodities, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics from outside Bangladesh.
