Sound knowledge of internal control systems, auditing procedures and risk management.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant accounting or ERP software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Purpose:
To ensure effective internal audit, financial accuracy, operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role will identify risks, prevent irregularities and recommend improvements, preferably within the garments industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct internal audits of financial, operational and administrative activities.
Review financial records, vouchers, bills, inventory and other relevant documents.
Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Identify financial irregularities, operational risks and control weaknesses.
Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations and corrective actions.
Follow up on audit observations and ensure implementation of corrective measures.
Conduct stock, inventory, and asset audits to verify accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve audit findings.
Report significant audit findings and recommendations to management.
