Experience & Competencies
Relevant experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a recognized shoe or footwear manufacturing factory.
Candidates with practical knowledge of footwear material testing and finished-shoe test methods will be given special preference.
Understanding of applicable footwear test methods and the ability to review and interpret test results, identify non-conformities and follow up corrective actions.
Knowledge of relevant footwear standards and safety footwear requirements, such as EN ISO 20345 and applicable test requirements, will be an advantage.
Good understanding of incoming material inspection, in-process QC, final inspection, defect classification, root-cause analysis and CAPA.
Ability to coordinate with Production and other departments, guide QC personnel, prepare reports and communicate quality concerns clearly.
Sound computer literacy, especially MS Excel, MS Word and other MS Office applications.
Ability to work independently, make practical decisions and perform effectively under production pressure.
The position offered will depend on the candidate’s relevant experience, technical competence and leadership capability.

MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER (QUALITY)
Job Responsibilities
Lead and monitor quality control activities from incoming shoe materials inspection through Cutting, Sewing, Lasting, Molding, Finishing and Final Inspection.
Plan, guide and follow up the QC team to ensure that production processes and finished shoes meet approved samples, specifications and required quality standards.
Review material and footwear test reports, identify quality risks and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues before they affect production or shipment.
Analyze daily defects and customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate closely with Production, Merchandising, Technical and other relevant teams to maintain consistent quality and achieve planned production targets.
Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, defect analysis and other documents; report significant quality issues and improvement needs to management.
Ensure compliance with applicable buyer requirements, approved product specifications, company procedures and relevant footwear standards.
For managerial roles, lead quality improvement initiatives, develop QC team capability and review quality performance across production stages.
