∎ We are looking for an experienced and skilled professional for the position of Maintenance Engineer
∎ Job Location: Head Office (Sylhet)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide leadership and work as part of a team to coordinate and monitor electrical & mechanical maintenance works of all machineries and equipments at our tea factories, cold storage and real estate divisions.
∎ Prepare preventive maintenance schedule of electrical and mechanical equipment in our factories, including sub-station, transformers, PFI, switchgear, distribution boards, RMS, generators, motors, gearboxes, axial flow fans, compressors, pneumatics, processing machineries etc.
∎ Assess maintenance needs of all electrical and mechanical equipments, ensuring quality work of any kind of repair work conducted in-house or in workshops.
∎ Co-ordinate with unit supervisors to ensure effective maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipments through regular monitoring of maintenance activities
∎ Prepare schedule for any shut-down required for preventive maintenance of electrical equipment
∎ Work closely with Directors to plan, organize and execute installation, and renovation projects.
∎ Work with managers, executives and site team to resolve emergency issues, supervise local engineering teams.
∎ Manage relationships with all service providers, including keeping liaison with various utility companies including gas, electricity, water.
∎ Work closely with contractors, sub-contractors and/or labours to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth operations of all production units.
∎ Carry out regular site visits and provide leadership to site teams.
∎ Find ways to reduce costs and conserve energy.
∎ Coordinate and manage administrative issues related to maintenance, utility.
∎ Resolve any situation & any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 08-10 year(s) working experience in installation, service, maintenance of substation, transformer, switchgear, bus-bar trunking, VRF air conditioning, lifts, generator, compressor, distribution boards, RMS, factory machineries etc.
∎ At least 10 years' working experience in related industry.
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali and strong analytical and numerical skills.
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate subordinates.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame

∎ Appropriate to experience and qualification.
