∎ For our Sourcing Office in Dhaka - we are looking for Logistics Officer
∎ Position requires very organized, proactive, problem solver who has good knowledge about Logistics Operation, Central Bank rules & regulations.
∎ The successful candidate will work closely with the Import Team, Merchandisers, Suppliers and Buyers in Europe.
∎ Availability: OCTOBER 2021
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have sound shipping operation knowledge about RMG sector.
∎ Ability to develop & implement commercial strategies, meeting company goals & objectives.
∎ Must have ability to define and analyze bottleneck and solve it.
∎ Receive booking details from forwarders and communicate with buyer for booking validation.
∎ Monitor that factory has handed over the goods to forwarder on time.
∎ Chase factory to receive original shipping documents.
∎ Verify and validate factory invoice and packing list and other shipping documents received from factory. (Price, quantity, quality approval, HS Code, composition etc).
∎ Monitor shipments from onboard to up to delivery at DC.
∎ Should have clear knowledge of current rules & regulations of customs UPDC-600, HS code & Incoterms -2010/2020.
∎ Accept extra duties as situation demands and work efficiently and calmly.
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge in Import, export, procurement, account & Finance with Banking and other related task of Commercial Department
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years' experience in Logistics Operation
∎ Organized, and self-motivated person, able to work independently and also in a team within a fast paced environment.
∎ Excellent English knowledge verbally and in written
∎ Must have knowledge on MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and internet proficiency
∎ Must show Commitment and loyalty to the company
∎ Professional certificate on SCM will be treating as extra advance.
