∎ For our Sourcing Office in Dhaka - we are looking for Logistics Officer (Master LC Operation)
∎ Position requires very organized, proactive, problem solver who has good knowledge about LC Operation, Central Bank rules & regulations also with strong knowledge on Logistics.
∎ The successful candidate will work closely with the Import Team, Merchandisers, Suppliers and Buyers in Europe.
∎ Availability: ASAP
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of all types of foreign LC
∎ Maintain PI /PO accuracy and opening/amend on timely basis
∎ Prepare all necessary LC documentation for timely submission.
∎ Submit LC draft document to suppliers & bring back suppliers consent within stipulated time
∎ All Export Follow up.
∎ Negotiation with suppliers for commercial issues like L/C clause, Payment, acceptance etc.
∎ Ability to develop & implement commercial strategies, meeting company goals & objectives.
∎ Should have clear knowledge of current rules & regulations of customs UPDC-600, HS code & Inco terms -2020.
∎ Accept extra duties as situation demands and work efficiently and calmly.
∎ Filing export documentations
∎ Must have practical experience in Commercial/ BEPZA/ Custom/ Bank/ Export Import/LC/ Freight Forwarding/ C&F/ Supply Chain.
∎ Must be experience in Export-Import Indenting and Banking.
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge in Import, export, procurement, account & Finance with Banking and other related task of Commercial Department in any reputed RMG sector
∎ To Perform on HS code, Customs Act, Import Policy, Export Policy and other related laws applicable for Export;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years' experience in LC and Banking Operation
∎ Organized, and self-motivated person, able to work independently and also in a team within a fast paced environment
∎ Excellent English knowledge verbally and in written
∎ Must have knowledge on MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and internet proficiency
∎ Must show Commitment and loyalty to the company
