∎ Must have experience of working as a Librarian for 3-7 years in any reputed Nursing Institute/Hospital/Medical college.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Divine Mercy Nursing Institute is one of the project of The Christian Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. (CCCUL) Dhaka. It is located on the outskirts of Dhaka city at proximity to the Dhaka By Pass National Highway at Mothbari, Ulukhola Kaligonj, Gazipur (approx. 12 kilometers from Kuril, Bishwaroad).
∎ We are looking for a professional Librarian who will facilitate access to information and resources to the visiting students of our Nursing Institute. He will curate collections, develop educational programs, manage databases, and oversee library staffs.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and organize library inventory and all library resources so that they are easy to locate. (e.g. with books, collections, periodicals, multimedia, etc.).
∎ Oversee the library to ensure cleanliness, order, and protection of the library’s resources.
∎ Conduct regular checks and updates on database information.
∎ Evaluate library inventory needs, manage library budgeting and billing for new required equipment and place orders.
∎ Assist library visitors in conducting research and locating resources.
∎ Support learning, research, and exploration for library and help them by providing reading materials and references.
∎ Answer patrons’ questions via phone or email.
∎ Supervise library assistants and other staff.
∎ Identify technology needs, research and implement new information system techniques and make recommendations.
∎ Coordinate and create community programs that increase library awareness.
