Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS
∎ Post graduation in Laboratory Medicine
∎ Candidate must be BMDC registered.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

∎ Location: East-West Medical college & Hospital.
∎ Full-time (9am to 6pm)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to handle Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology & Immunology department.
∎ Design and implement best practice laboratory solution.
∎ To check instrument calibration of the biochemistry, immunology, Haematology & Microbiology analyzers periodically.
∎ To check internal quality control of all biochemical, immunological, Hematologic & Microbiological tests every day in the morning, evaluate the findings and verify those.
∎ To keep record of all calibration and QC findings.
∎ Maintains medical laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards; developing operations, quality, and troubleshooting procedures; ensuring staff compliance; certifying instrument performance; arranging equipment replacement, service, and repair.
∎ Maintains medical laboratory productivity by monitoring workload of functional areas; identifying peak and slack periods; making operational or staffing adjustment.
∎ Maintains medical laboratory information system by identifying information needs and problems; recommending improvements; establishing priorities; testing; writing user manuals; training employees; maintaining security and confidentiality.
∎ Implements new programs, tests, methods, instrumentation, and procedures by investigating alternatives; preparing proposals; developing and performing parallel testing; monitoring progress.
∎ Maintains medical laboratory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
∎ Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
∎ Resolves problems by consulting with pathologists, laboratory managers, technical coordinators, attending committee meetings.
∎ Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ The applicants should have 3 years experience in the above mentioned departments.

∎ Strong planning and organizational skills.
∎ Project management skills/experience desirable.
∎ Ability to communicate effectively at varying levels of the organization.
