Educational Requirements:
∎ 8 Pass
∎ Secondary School Certificate (SSC) would be added advantage
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Government or Development Partner agencies, In relevant field
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support in the collection of clinical samples especially blood/infectious diseases samples for routine laboratory testing
∎ Verifies inventories and prepares orders for certain lab supplies as directed by the technologist
∎ Assist laboratory technologist to perform day-to-day laboratory activities in and outside the laboratory
∎ Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware, metal instruments, sinks, tables, and test panels, using solvents, brushes, and racks
∎ Sterilize glassware and instruments by using autoclave
∎ Deliver supplies and laboratory specimens to designated work areas
∎ Maintain inventory reports and log sheet
∎ Perform other tasks as and when necessary, as assigned by the supervisor
