Job Responsibilities:
∎ Selection of right vendor for the right product.
∎ Availability and acquisition of products by effective communications and cooperative relationships with vendors at all the time.
∎ Responsible for negotiating product price, on time delivery and payment terms with vendors.
∎ Aligned with business OPEX.
∎ Pricing & Marketing Insight:
∎ Responsible for setting competitive pricing points and adjusting the pricing to increase sales and clear out stagnant items from inventory.
∎ Responsible for expand successful product lines and implement successful exit strategies for unsuccessful unpopular products.
∎ Determine the positioning & assortment of a product category to maximize visibility.
∎ Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category.
∎ Planning & Inventory Management:
∎ Responsible for managing inventory and for effective planning and forecasting to maximize the profitability of the inventory flow.
∎ Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand various product categories
∎ Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory.
