Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create schedules for housekeeping staff to follow on a daily basis and ensure that they are followed properly.
∎ Provide cleaners with supplies and equipment, such as clothes, disinfectants, washing agents, and mops to assist them in their cleaning endeavors.
∎ Make sure that the appearance of the hospital is clean and tidy.
∎ Maintain constant awareness of the cleanliness, maintenance of the hospital.
∎ Create and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure appropriate liaison with vendors to ensure prompt delivery of both.
∎ Ensure that all chemical and hospital waste is properly disposed of by following set procedures and protocols of the hospital.
∎ Oversee the disinfection and cleaning of hospital areas, including rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, and doctors’ offices.
∎ Keep abreast of equipment repair or supplies replenishment needs and ensure that they are timely fulfilled.
∎ Change linen and ensure that all soiled or dirty linen is transported to the laundry.
∎ Ensure that custodial staff members actively clean and turn patients’ mattresses, change linen on a daily basis and prepare rooms for new patients.
∎ Oversee the work of housekeeping staff, specifically laundry staff members to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of clean linen to rooms and wards.
∎ Address patients’ or families’ complaints and ensure a quick resolution to ensure their satisfaction.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Having experience in the particular field as a Room Attendant / equivalent post.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area (s): Hospital Housekeeping, Cleaning, Laundry & Washing Department.
∎ Knowledge of hospital safety standards within Hospital housekeeping Department.
∎ Must have computer literacy Specially MS Word & MS Excel.
∎ Must have excellent communication skill in Bengali and English.
∎ Should be able to build and work in team.
∎ Must be honest and hardworking.
