∎ An opportunity for job candidates who wish to pursue a role as a Junior Medical/Lab Technologist in a clinical laboratory. The role is multi-disciplinary, to include tissue-based therapeutics preparation, hematology services etc. Working as a small team, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills, knowledge and experience. Duties will include working in Sample Reception, the routine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation, technical validation, quality assurance and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collection, processing and preservation of human tissues/samples.
∎ Perform specimen reception, preparation and carry out specimen analysis, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the analyzers.
∎ Proficiency in automated cell counting methods and operation.
∎ Exhibit interest and excitement in participating in the production of cellular products and execute with cell or tissue-based therapeutics preparations.
∎ Conducting various tests & inspections to ensure that products developed are in compliance with pre-set technical specifications.
∎ Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of supplies and reagents utilized in the laboratory.
∎ Adhere to department's standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
∎ Understanding of good documentation practices and requirements- Managing patient records, preparing reports, assisting manager collecting data for quality indicator reports.
∎ The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, engaged, and will work closely with members of the Cell Therapy Team.
∎ Other duties & responsibilities as and when assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Freshers are encouraged to apply but experienced candidate shall get preference.
∎ Detailed oriented.
∎ Able to handle tasks assigned individually as well as a team.
∎ Staff will be required to work according to the shift assigned, including weekends, public holidays and night duties.
∎ Good laboratory, planning and organizational skills.
∎ Computer literacy.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Service orientated and customer focused.
