Job Context:
∎ Brandix Apparel Bangladesh Ltd. - Cumilla EPZ, Bangladesh
∎ Scope:
∎ The Compliance Officer will be reporting to the Compliance Manager. The role holder will be acting as the change agent of the factory and will be working for continuous improvement to drive Social Compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure 100% Implementation of buyers COC, Bangladesh EPZ law & Labor law.
∎ Preparing clear and concise compliance report.
∎ Verify that all licenses, certificates and regulatory policies and procedure have been updated, documented, implemented and communicated.
∎ Ensure Compliance on health & Safety as per in house checklist.
∎ Conduct in house training for all employees on OHS, EMS, Fire Safety, Grievance, etc., as advice by factory management.
∎ Maintain every compliance mechanism /tools internally through weekly, monthly & yearly comparative statistical report & tools.
∎ Take proper and immediate steps to improve factory conditions those will get object of non compliance from buyers and take all possible steps to adhere with buyers' compliance inspection.
∎ Follow up all date, records, reports, format, statement, rank & files books & registers of all departments are properly prepared, issued, update & maintained as per compliance requirement/standard.
∎ Assist to superior to ensure to follow up that all corrective action has been taken/follow up regularly as per CAP submitted.
∎ Any other assignment given by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1-2 years experience in same field.
∎ Should have strong interpersonal skills and leadership quality
∎ Fluency in English
∎ Must be self motivated, energetic and capable to work under pressure
