Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum M.Sc. Engg./ M.Engg in Civil / Water Resources Engineering from a reputed University. The incumbents will have sound understanding and knowledge on hydrologic and hydraulic processes.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Division/Cell: Climate Change Cell
∎ Reporting to: Head, Climate Change Cell
∎ Grade : P-VI
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work for active and proposed projects as and when required
∎ Work with other team members and training to Junior Resources Persons
∎ Data processing and development of climate & hydrological model under different active projects
∎ Participate in different training program/conference/workshops as and when necessary
∎ Develop and maintain link with different relevant national & International Donor Agencies proactively
∎ Developments and maintain the relation with different relevant Clients
∎ Develop new concept proposals on climate related projects
∎ Reporting and presentation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Programming Skill - Python, R etc.
∎ Mathematical Modelling Skill specially 2D and 3d Hydrodynamic Modelling
∎ Climate modelling techniques including bias correction and statistical down scaling
∎ At least 05 years relevant work experience is required. Experience in climate related projects are essential.
∎ Report writing, presentation skills
∎ Relevant research publication in conference/journal is preferable
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
∎ Must have a 'can-do' attitude.
∎ The incumbent must have a mindset to work in a team.
∎ Must be able to carry out multi-tasking activities and have a mindset to work under pressure.
