Responsibilities & Context: Job Location Gazipur, Bangladesh Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day VAT and Tax-related activities of the company. Prepare and maintain VAT and Tax-related documents, records, and supporting schedules. Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns, statements, and other statutory documents. Support the team in maintaining proper documentation for VAT and Tax compliance. Assist in verifying purchase, sales, invoices, challans, and other relevant documents from a VAT & Tax perspective. Support withholding tax and VAT deduction-related activities as required. Maintain proper records of VAT and Tax certificates, challans, returns, and related documents. Assist during VAT/Tax audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal departments to collect necessary documents and information. Stay updated on relevant changes in VAT & Tax rules and regulations. Perform other VAT, Tax, and accounting-related duties assigned by management. Required Skills & Competencies: Basic understanding of VAT, Tax, and accounting principles. Good analytical and numerical ability. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and tax-related information. Strong willingness to learn and develop a career in Finance, Accounts, VAT & Tax.
