Responsibilities & Context:
∎ ▪To be an exemplary teacher, clearly demonstrating effective planning, teaching and organization, and high standards of achievement and behavior in Japanese lessons.
∎ ▪Using a range of strategies and tools to assess student learning.
∎ ▪Using student assessment to improve teaching and learning.
∎ ▪To Teach with pace, clarity and ensure all children are interested and engaged in their learning
∎ ▪To ensure a high focus is placed on all four areas of language learning – reading, writing, speaking and listening, including the learning and use of hiragana, katakana and kanji.
∎ ▪To provide high quality written and verbal Knowledge
∎ ▪Teaching methodologies appropriate to mixed ability as well as multi-cultural backgrounds.
∎ ▪A desire to promote the Japanese culture and language to students
∎ ▪ Prepare Students for NAT and JLPT Proficiency test.
∎ ▪ Embassy Preparation class and test for students.
