Job Context:

∎ The Intern will aid in ensuring that procurement operations are carried out professionally, efficiently, and effectively, and will assist the procurement team in handling daily procurement functions.
∎ The Internship will be a fixed-term contract initially 03 months. After successful completion of this internship competent internee may get an opportunity to be employed at SHN.
∎ Directly reports to Sr. Manager, Supply Chain and Procurement.
∎ Other major interactions: Clinic Manager and Officer, Accounts and Admin, SDS, Junior officer, IT, Finance and Accounts department and external vendors or suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist line manager in procurement process such as renovation works, medical equipment, IT equipment, branding items etc. of HQ and Clinic.
∎ Collect quotation from enlisted or competitive suppliers from the local market and prepare comparative statement for memo approval.
∎ Assist the line manager in shortlisting suppliers/vendors for sourcing IT equipment, surgical items, medical equipment effectively by exploring the local market.
∎ Assist in preparing purchase order/work order for purchases, following up on timely delivery, and settling supplier invoices.
∎ Support procurement team to timely delivery of all materials, equipment, and services as per the requirement.
∎ Work with procurement team to maintain proper documentation of suppliers' information, purchase records, and other relevant documents.
∎ Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
