Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience as an estimator or similar role in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
∎ Strong proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel, Sketchup) and MS Office Suite.
∎ Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of staff and clients.Knowledge of current market trends, materials, and labor costs associated with interior design and construction.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Interior Budget Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional numerical skills, and a deep understanding of interior design and construction materials. You will play a crucial role in the planning phase of our projects, ensuring that all design proposals align with the client's budget and financial constraints.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with interior designers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
∎ Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for interior design projects.
∎ Assess cost-effectiveness and feasibility of project options and suggest alternatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
∎ Liaise with suppliers and contractors to gather pricing and product information.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure accurate estimation.
∎ Prepare detailed budget reports and present them to stakeholders for review and approval.
∎ Monitor project expenditures, identifying variances between estimated and actual costs, and recommend solutions to mitigate financial overruns.
∎ Participate in project meetings and provide updates on budget status to the team and clients.Support the procurement process by assisting in the negotiation of contracts and material purchases.
