Educational Requirements:

∎ Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with major in Chemical/Process, Mechanical or Metallurgy. API 579 (Fitness for Service) certification is a requirement.
∎ Must have at least one of the following certifications: API 510, API 570, API 653, ANST Level III or other relevant certification.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Inspection and Corrosion Engineer is responsible for developing and executing inspection plans based on API 653, API 510, API 570 and other relevant codes and standards.
∎ The scope of internal and external inspection will include vessels, storage tanks, process piping, pipelines, structures and facilities while online or during a shutdown period, including new facilities under fabrication and construction.
∎ The Inspection and Corrosion Engineer will prepare, issue and coordinate inspection scope of work, work pack and material take-off (MTO) for turnaround and shutdown.
∎ This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing and evaluating inspection reports. He/she will evaluate recommendations for review and implementation. If needed, the selected candidate will perform fitness-for-service (FFS) assessment based on API 579.
∎ The Inspection and Corrosion Engineer will be conduct corrosion studies to optimize fluid surveillance practices and facilitate corrosion failure analysis.
∎ He/she will develop and support the implementation of corrosion/erosion monitoring and prevention systems.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The Inspection and Corrosion Engineer must have at least 10 years experiences in asset integrity management, plant inspection, in-service inspection, corrosion management, cathodic protection monitoring, project management and other related activities in oil and gas industry.
∎ Proven experience on design and implementation of chemical treatment program for oil and gas facility, fitness for service analysis, capability of defining corrosion mechanism is a major desire for this position.
∎ Technical writing experience is a requirement.
∎ Good oral and written communication skills in English is a requirement.
∎ The candidate must have demonstrated planning, scheduling and project management skills. Competent in MS Office Suite of programs, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Salary: Negotiable
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Work Schedule: 28 days on and 28 days off basis.
∎ Others: As per company policy.
