∎ M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology,· Minimum 5 years of experience of working in a hospital-based Procurement Service environment would be an additional advantage.· The ability to work under pressure and to deal with challenging situations in a sensitive and creative manner

∎ · Proven ability to work independently and working together with other colleagues Excellent problem solving skill. Language skills both in Bangla and English.· At least 2 years of laboratory experience in academic or research institutions or a diagnostic laboratory.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Will be responsible for maintaining the overall team spirit amongst the medical lab technologists.· Every day in the morning he will check all the equipment in the laboratory such as incubators, water bath, microtome, chemical analyzers, hemoanalyzers etc. are all clean and dust free and will see that all this equipment are in perfect working order.· Will maintain a list of all the equipment and see that these are properly cleaned every day. He will also ensure that the proper temperatures are maintained in all the freezes and incubators in the Lab.· He will have to develop leadership quality to lead the teams of medical lab technologists, so that the work process follows a smooth pattern in the laboratory without any friction.· He will help all medical lab technologists if they are in need of any assistance in their work.· Follow the laid down procedure for waste disposal and have knowledge of laboratory Biosafety.· Delivers patients’ test reports according to times indicated in policy and standard operating procedures (SOP).· Responsible for distribution of printed test results to the OPD and various floors in the IPD· He will trace all the ‘urgent’ tests and the tests received from A & E dept. and ensure the lab report delivery.To summarize, it is not the intention of this Job Description to limit the scope or responsibilities of the above-mentioned, but to highlight the most important aspects of your position.
